Bakasur - Pre Launch

I am not a last moment person at all, but there are a few things that you cannot help about. On an everyday basis I like going according to my schedule that is been pre - planned. But, like I said you don't have a choice but temptation at times. So, I received a call from Garima from Poshvine on Saturday asking me to attend and be a part of Bakasur - Pre Launch - Fine dining restaurant at Bellandur. Coming from the hospitality background I couldn't really afford to miss this opportunity. Also, my love for food and hospitality cannot be defined.
Bakasur in terms of space is quiet huge with great seating plan. Some of the restaurants just fail to give you a good experience off it's layout. Well Bakasur definitely will not disappoint you if you like to have your own space and comfort zone while dining. Also I quiet appreciated their thought and choice on furniture that has been bought in. Instead of those tiny little tables which are commonly seen, the sizes of table here are bit bigger. It's a little uncomfortable at the beginning to look at specially when it's a table for 2, but you soon realize how it's much more convenient and hassle free zone once the table cover is put up.
Coming to the most crucial part Food,  I started with Daab nimbu Shikanji. Trust me when I say it was one of the most refreshing, summer drinks I have ever had with the perfect blend of sweetness and hint of citrus. The drink was quiet flavorful and light, perfect for the weather and easy to go with North Indian food.
For the starters with the help of the service personnel I decided to go with Dahi ke Pakode. I have had a lot of pakode with dahi as an accompaniment but dahi ke pakode amazed me. I could feel the crispiness of the outer covering with moist and induced flavor of yogurt which just melt, spreading over it's magic all over my taste buds. It's definitely must and worth try dish on the menu.
For, the main course Dal Makhani along with Murgh Makhani and some breads were ordered. It's been four months I have shifted to Bangalore and ever since then, I have been looking  for perfect north Indian Murgh Makhani. I guess my quest for the same is over - Bakasur to rescue, Need I say more. Chicken was cooked to perfection and the gravy was finger licking good. This was the time when I was full of flavors and was left with no appetite, the service personnel coaxed me in having Jalebis and I can't stop thanking him for making me eat those luscious and toothsome delight.
The quantity of the portions are quiet huge and the quality being extremely good, I think the food and experience is worth every penny at Bakasur.
Are you all ready for some scrumptious food and gorgeous dining experience? Bakasur opens officially for public from 1st August 2012. All you food lovers out there the place is definitely worth visiting!!!
I would like to thank Poshvine for the Pre - Launch dinner Invitation to Bakasur.
